The Role of the Tonic Bartender

The Tonic Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving a variety of high-quality non-alcoholic beverages while providing exceptional customer service and creating memorable guest experiences. The role includes preparing signature mocktails, specialty tonics, fresh juices, smoothies, and other creative refreshments in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards.

The Tonic Bartender ensures consistent beverage quality, maintains a clean and organized workstation, monitors inventory, and adheres to food safety and hygiene standards. Through excellent product knowledge, creativity, and personalized service, the Tonic Bartender contributes to the overall success of the Tonic outlet and enhances the guest experience.

Four Seasons Hotel Riyadh

Located in the heart of the capital within the iconic 99-storey Kingdom Centre, Four Seasons Hotel Riyadh offers convenient access to key business districts, shopping destinations, and cultural attractions. The hotel features 276 spacious and light-filled guest rooms, including 39 luxurious suites.

Areas of responsibility include Food & Beverage, specifically the Tonic outlet.

Food & Beverage

The hotel offers three exceptional restaurant venues, collectively accommodating up to 250 guests.

The hotel's event facilities include a ballroom and meeting rooms, offering a total of 7,213 square meters (77,640 square feet) of space for a wide range of events and occasions.

SPA and Wellness

The hotel's world-class spa offers a variety of treatments across eight treatment rooms for male guests and one treatment room exclusively for female guests. The spa also features premium wellness facilities and a fully equipped fitness center.

The Spa Department is supported by a dedicated team of 25 colleagues committed to delivering exceptional service and personalized wellness experiences.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Previous experience as a bartender specializing in non-alcoholic beverages, barista, or in a similar Food & Beverage role is an advantage.

• Knowledge of preparing non-alcoholic beverages, including mocktails, fresh juices, specialty tonics, smoothies, and signature refreshments.

• Familiarity with beverage presentation, garnishing techniques, flavor combinations, and ingredient pairing.

• Strong customer service and communication skills.

• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to consistent beverage quality.

• Basic mathematical skills for portion control and inventory management.

• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and hygiene practices.

• Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor.

• Creativity and a willingness to learn new beverage preparation techniques and develop innovative non-alcoholic beverages.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.

• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays according to operational requirements.
