Chief Financial Officer (CFO) / Finance Director

The job title: Chief Financial Officer (CFO) / Finance Director. This role is distinguished by its focus on managing high daily cash flows from retail and fuel sectors, and relationships with major suppliers. The objective of the position: Leading the financial strategy for the company, managing daily cash flows generated from retail sales, and enhancing profitability through cost reduction and managing working capital with suppliers and banks.
The main responsibilities include: Efficient management of daily cash flows, monitoring financial operations for points of sale (POS), and credit cards, and fuel cards. Preparing annual and quarterly budgets and financial plans, and developing financial models to support expansion into new branches and products. Supervising the preparation of financial reports and statements in compliance with international standards (IFRS) and local regulations in Saudi Arabia. Managing VAT and real estate transaction tax compliance, ensuring full adherence to tax authority regulations. Managing relationships with banks and facilitating financing operations and credit approvals related to fuel suppliers and consumer goods. Analyzing profit margins for each retail outlet and branch, and providing recommendations to senior management to improve operational efficiency.
Required qualifications and conditions: Educational qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (MBA or professional certifications such as SOCPA, CMA, CFA are highly preferred). Experience: A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in financial management, including at least 3 years in the retail sector, FMCG, or fuel operations. Exceptional skills in using advanced accounting systems and ERP solutions.
