Job description
- Coordinate and track purchase requests from various departments.
- Communicate with suppliers to obtain pricing proposals and necessary information.
- Prepare and compile pricing proposals and compare them based on prices, specifications, and terms.
- Monitor the issuance of purchase orders and obtain necessary approvals.
- Follow up on purchase orders with suppliers and ensure delivery timelines.
- Coordinate with warehouses and relevant departments regarding the receipt of requests.
- Monitor any delays or issues related to supply and report to the direct supervisor.
- Update records and data of suppliers, prices, and purchase orders.
- Organize and maintain procurement documents, invoices, and purchase orders.
- Coordinate with the finance department regarding invoices and required documents.
- Track the status of purchase requests and prepare periodic reports on them.
- Assist in updating the supplier database.
- Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Adhere to the approved procurement policies and procedures of the company.
