SAP HANA Architect/ Migration Lead

We are looking for a highly experienced SAP HANA Architect / Technical Lead to drive a large-scale end-to-end SAP HANA migration and infrastructure transformation program.

This role requires a senior SAP-certified professional who can take full ownership across architecture, migration, infrastructure modernization, and delivery leadership—acting as the single technical point of contact across multiple vendors and partners.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Technical Leadership

• Own end-to-end solution architecture for SAP HANA migration and platform transformation
• Define and govern architecture, design standards, and best practices
• Act as the single technical lead across all delivery streams (SAP, infrastructure, partners)

SAP HANA Migration Delivery

• Lead SAP HANA migration (Brownfield/Greenfield/Hybrid)
• Drive system conversion, landscape transformation, and optimization
• Ensure performance tuning and post-migration stabilization

Infrastructure & Platform Deployment

• Lead compute/platform deployment (Dell / ATOS or equivalent environments)
• Oversee VM migration and virtualization strategy
• Drive infrastructure sizing, provisioning, and optimization

Storage & SAN Migration

• Lead SAN migration / storage modernization initiatives
• Ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of storage systems

Backup, HA/DR & Business Continuity

• Design and implement HA/DR strategies (HANA System Replication, clustering, DR drills)
• Define backup, recovery, and business continuity frameworks

Integration & Governance

• Ensure integration across security, monitoring, and infrastructure tools
• Coordinate with multiple vendors (Dell, ATOS, partners) ensuring unified delivery

Testing, Cutover & Go-Live

• Lead cutover planning, execution, and go-live readiness
• Oversee system testing, validation, and hypercare support

Required Skills & Experience

• 10–15+ years of SAP technical experience with strong SAP HANA specialization

• Proven experience as SAP HANA Architect / Migration Lead in large programs

• Strong expertise in:

  • SAP HANA migration (SUM DMO, System Conversion, Landscape Transformation)
  • Infrastructure modernization (Compute, Storage, Virtualization)
  • VM migration (VMware/Hyper-V or similar)
  • SAN/storage technologies
  • HA/DR, backup, and business continuity

• Experience working in multi-vendor environments with strong stakeholder management

• Hands-on experience across implementation + migration + stabilization phases

• SAP Certified Technology Specialist – SAP HANA

• SAP OS/DB Migration Certification (preferred)

• Cloud / Infrastructure certifications (AWS/Azure/VMware) – added advantage
