Manufacturing Manager

Role Purpose:

Manufacturing Manager is responsible for managing the manufacturing activities of company and directing manpower performance. Also, he is responsible for ensuring the mechanical integrity and proper functioning of all factory equipment, machineries, and tools.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Manages and supervises the operational activities of Company and directs manpower performance.
• Reviews manufacturing schedules and production orders to determine staffing and raw materials requirements, work procedures, and duty assignments.
• Reviews manufacturing orders from sales department and develops a daily production plan accordingly.
• Directs and controls testing during manufacturing processes to ensure that finished products are fulfilling the approved quality standards.
• Optimizes manpower performance by developing and implementing effective training and recognition plans.
• Ensures that safety systems are maintained and safety procedures are adhered to by all staff.
• Provides technical assistance to all manufacturing departments and subordinates to ensure optimum manpower productivity, product quality, and factory efficiency.
• Recommends and coordinates maintenance plans to ensure the integrity and efficiency of all plant units.
• Establishes procedures for casual and incidental work requirements which fall outside of standard procedures.
• Prepares and submits weekly and monthly reports covering production rates, equipment, and machineries conditions.

Education Level : Bachelor’s degree :

Electrical / industrial engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Industrial Management / Chemical Engineering

Work Experience

B.S Degree minimum 8 years of related experience including at least 04 Years in management position in large or medium size organization, or

Master Degree minimum 6 Years of related experience, including at least 03 Years in management position in large or medium size organization

Knowledge:

Thorough knowledge of Technical and operations procedures

Thorough knowledge of Business & management principles involved in strategic planning.

Thorough knowledge of Safety and Health principles

Thorough knowledge of Budget principles and practices.

Intermediate knowledge of Principles & processes for providing customer & personal services.

Thorough  knowledge of Decision Making and problem solving.

Intermediate knowledge of Manpower management/ Planning
