Surveying Engineer

The Survey Engineer is responsible for performing topographic surveying of sites and preparing highly accurate survey plans and data, determining coordinates, elevations, and boundaries, and supporting the design and execution of projects. This includes preparing survey reports and drawings and ensuring work conforms to approved plans, technical requirements, and relevant codes.

Skills

– Conducting site topographic surveys using modern surveying equipment (GPS / Total Station / Level).

• Determining and marking project axes, boundaries, and coordinates before and during execution.
• Preparing and updating topographic survey plans and site maps according to new developments.
• Monitoring excavation and backfilling works, controlling elevations, and ensuring execution matches the plans.
• Conducting post-construction surveys (As-Built Survey) and preparing final drawings.
• Preparing daily and weekly survey reports and submitting them to the concerned authority.
• Coordinating with engineering, execution, and consultant teams to ensure data and alignments are accurate.
• Reviewing plans and ensuring there are no conflicts in coordinates and elevations.
• Adhering to professional safety standards while working on-site.
• Archiving and documenting all survey readings, data, and project digital files.
