JOB PURPOSE
BAE Systems is the UK Government s nominated Prime Contractor under the Government-to-Government arrangements that are in place to provide equipment, support and training to Saudi Arabia. We provide maintenance of Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) aircraft and train RSAF and Royal Saudi Naval Force personnel safely in a training environment in how to use their aircraft, equipment and weapons.

The IF&P Advisory Service Manager is responsible for enabling, supporting, and uplifting the Inventory Forecasting and Planning (IF&P) service across BAES AI delivery streams and platforms. This role provides expert guidance, mentoring and coaching to IF&P teams, ensuring consistent forecasting practices, effective planning strategies, and optimal use of forecasting toolsets such as Syncron. The role plays a central part in developing and embedding a capable IF&P service and delivering practical, role-based mentoring to enhance performance and knowledge.
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
Provide hands-on support and subject matter expertise to IF&P teams in forecasting methods, planning processes, and tool utilisation.
RECRUITMENT SPECIFICATION
Essential
Bachelor s degree in management, supply chain, or related field.
Extensive experience in forecasting, supply chain and business modelling.
Extensive knowledge of supply chain analytics, and scenario modelling in the defence or aerospace sector.
Proficient in the application of BI and analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Excel modelling).
Proven record of delivering high-impact insight to senior management.
Thought leader in IF&P initiates innovation, drives digital maturity, and mentors staff.
In-depth expertise in IF&P, supply chain and procurement processes. Deep understanding of how data informs lifecycle planning, performance forecasting, and strategic decision-making in a complex, regulated, and customer-facing defence environment. Maintains engagement with reporting frameworks, industry benchmarking bodies, and emerging best practice in IF&P.
Advanced forecasting and simulation modelling.
Data science literacy (e.g., statistical inference, trend analysis, anomaly detection).
Complex stakeholder communication and cross-functional leadership.
Systems thinking and scenario planning.
Executive reporting and communication.
