Asphalt Surveyors join our teams through a training program aimed at developing core engineering skills and applying them in real projects within the selected governorate, with opportunities for professional growth and transition into future technical and administrative roles.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Conduct site surveys and studies to accurately determine asphalt lines, sidewalls, and elevations.
- Assist the engineering team in preparing survey maps and execution drawings according to approved plans.
- Record field data, verify its synchronization with planning systems, and prepare daily and weekly reports.
- Coordinate with field teams and relevant departments to ensure the application of standard specifications and adherence to timelines.
- Contribute to measuring slopes and gradients and ensuring surface leveling according to approved engineering standards.
- Assist in preparing survey documentation and paper/electronic project documentation.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent from a recognized educational institution.
- Entry-level in surveying professions with a desire for professional development through training and field operations.
- Inclination to work in changing field environments while adhering to approved occupational safety procedures.
- Proficiency in reading and writing Arabic; basic knowledge of technical English is an additional advantage.
- Familiarity with using basic surveying software and Geographic Information Systems (GIS); practical experience is preferred.
Required Skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail in measurements, surveying, and precise recording and documentation.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work within a team and under direct supervision.
- Knowledge of the principles of measurement, elevations, projections, and topographic maps.
- Ability to learn and adhere to safety procedures at work sites.
- Ability to manage time and commit to deadlines and accurate reporting.
