The Cathodic Protection Engineer NACE-2 is responsible for managing and overseeing the construction and installation of cathodic protection systems on-site. This role ensures that all construction activities are executed in accordance with design specifications, project schedules, and safety standards. The CP NACE-2 Engineer is responsible for:
Supervise and coordinate the on-site construction of CP systems.
Ensure installation activities comply with design drawings, specifications, and industry standards.
Monitor progress and ensure the timely completion of CP construction tasks.
Coordinate with design engineers, and clients to resolve technical issues.
Prepare and maintain construction documentation, including daily reports, inspection records, and as-built drawings.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Testing & Commissioning and handover of CP systems.
Survey, Monitoring & Troubleshooting.
Bachelor’s degree in electrical, Corrosion Engineering, or related field.
NACE CP Level 2 certification is Mandatory.
Minimum 5 years of experience in cathodic protection field work, including supervisory roles.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in KSA.
Aramco approval in similar projects is preferable.
Experience in cathodic protection construction of Pipeline, well casings & Tanks.
Proven field experience and pre-commissioning experience.
Proven experience in interference studies and mitigation.
Soil resistivity, Drill stem and test anode.
Field survey, monitoring and troubleshooting.
DCVG & CIPS experience.
Design experience is preferable.
