About the Role
JASARA PMC is seeking a Project Management Information Systems (PMIS) Specialist to join the project management team. As a PMIS Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing, managing, and improving the project management information system to support the company's diverse projects.
Your expertise will contribute to the effective tracking of project performance and reporting, enhancing the decision-making process and ensuring alignment with company objectives.
Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation and management of project management information tools and systems to support project planning, execution, and monitoring.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure project data is accurately collected, reported, and utilized for effective decision-making.
- Analyze project performance indicators and prepare comprehensive reports for stakeholders and management.
- Provide ongoing training and support to project teams on PMIS functionalities and best practices.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures related to PMIS usage and data management.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and users to resolve PMIS-related issues and enhance system capabilities.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve project management practices and tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field.
- Over 8 years of experience in managing or overseeing project management information systems.
- Strong proficiency in project management tools and software, particularly those related to planning, tracking, and reporting.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to effectively train and support users on PMIS systems.
- Experience with project management methodologies such as Agile or PRINCE2 is a plus.
- Familiarity with data security and compliance issues related to PMIS systems is a plus.
- Proficiency in both Arabic and English is preferred.
