Procurement Engineer
2–4 years of experience
Job description
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage procurement of steel mechanical spare parts and electrical materials
· Review technical specifications and supplier quotations
· Source and evaluate reliable local and international suppliers
· Conduct technical and commercial comparison of quotations
· Negotiate pricing delivery and payment terms
· Issue purchase orders and follow up with suppliers for order confirmation
· Ensure timely material availability in line with operational needs
· Coordinate with engineering warehouse and internal teams for accurate requirements
· Identify cost saving opportunities through sourcing and negotiation
· Maintain supplier records and procurement documentation
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial procurement
Strong technical understanding of materials and specifications
Experience with ERP systems
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Fluent in verbal and written English with Arabic preferred
