Job description

Leverage your expertise and join the dynamic team of a leading Saudi contractor focused on high-quality large-scale residential projects in Saudi Arabia. The QA/QC Architectural Inspector will be responsible for ensuring that all architectural works are executed in full compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, applicable codes, and quality standards, while maintaining effective quality control throughout all project phases to ensure successful project delivery. Key Accountabilities The position involves: Ensure all architectural works are executed in accordance with approved IFC drawings, project specifications, approved material submittents, and applicable standards. Conduct regular site inspections for architectural and finishing works including blockwork, plastering, screeding, waterproofing, tiling, marble, gypsum partitions, ceilings, painting, flooring, joinery, aluminum works, doors, façade, and architectural finishes. Review and verify shop drawings, material submittents, method statements, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and architectural specifications. Raise, monitor, and close Work Inspection Requests (WIRs), Material Inspection Requests (MIRs), Site Observation Reports (SORs), and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs). Verify mock-ups, benchmark areas, and sample installations before commencement of bulk construction activities. Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure compliance with QA/QC procedures, project specifications, approved drawings, and safety standards. Coordinate with construction, engineering, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve architectural quality issues and technical discrepancies. Conduct inspections for architectural materials upon delivery to ensure compliance with approved material submittents and project specifications. Verify installation quality, workmanship, dimensions, levels, alignment, tolerances, and finishing standards. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly QA/QC reports while maintaining all quality records and documentation throughout the project lifecycle. Support testing activities, snagging, de-snagging, final inspections, project close-out, and handover documentation. Ensure full compliance with the Saudi Building Code (SBC), project specifications, consultant requirements, and international quality standards.

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related construction discipline. Minimum 5 10 years of experience in QA/QC Architectural Inspection within construction projects (mandatory). Proven experience in residential, hospitality, commercial, or mixed-use developments. Strong knowledge of architectural finishes, fit-out works, and construction quality standards. Experience reviewing IFC drawings, shop drawings, material submittents, RFIs, MIRs, WIRs, NCRs, SORs, and ITPs. Strong understanding of QA/QC procedures, method statements, inspection processes, and project documentation. Familiarity with the Saudi Building Code (SBC) and international standards. Experience in snagging, de-snagging, project close-out, and handover activities. Ability to coordinate effectively with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams. Good communication, reporting, and documentation skills. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office. Experience with Aconex, BIM 360, Procore, or other document management systems is an advantage. Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple site activities, and maintain high attention to detail.
