Assistant Professor of Practice in Accounting

Teach: Inspire and mentor undergraduate and graduate students in accounting, incorporating the latest advancements and real-world applications. Courses to be taught may include one or more of the following:

• Undergraduate: Introduction to the Accounting Profession, Introduction to Financial Accounting, Introduction to Managerial Accounting, Intermediate Financial Accounting, Accounting Information Systems, Advanced Financial Accounting, Auditing and Assurance Services, and Cost Accounting.
• Graduate: Accounting Foundations and Managerial Accounting.

Academic Assessment: Collect learning assessment data as needed.

Research: Conduct cutting-edge research that advances the field of accounting.

Curriculum Development: Contribute to the development of innovative curricula.

Mentorship: Guide and advise students, fostering their professional development and preparing them for successful careers.

Service: Engage in service activities that contribute to the department, college, and university.

Student Engagement: Support and engage in student focused activities to enhance the vibrant student population at the NHU-Riyadh campus.

You Need:

• Ph.D. in Accounting or Business with a focus area in Accounting
  • Business master s degree with CPA and experience will also be considered.
• Teaching Excellence: Demonstrated excellence in teaching, with a passion for student learning and mentorship.
• Research Potential: A strong research record or the potential to conduct high-quality intellectual contributions.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, to effectively engage with students. Bilingual language skills are a plus.
• Business Practice Experience: Business practice experience is well regarded.
