Risk Team Leader Engineer

PURPOSE:

·       The Risk Team Leader Engineer is responsible for establishing and overseeing the risk management framework across construction projects. The primary goal is to identify, analyze, and mitigate potential threats to the project’s timeline and budget while optimizing opportunities to ensure successful project delivery.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·       Develop and implement the Project Risk Management Plan in accordance with the local regulations and standardization.

·       Define risk thresholds, categories (RBS), and scoring matrices tailored to the specific construction project.

·       Facilitate regular Risk Identification with key stakeholders (Construction, Procurement, Engineering, etc.).

·       Conduct Qualitative Risk Analysis to prioritize risks based on probability and impact.

·       Perform Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA) to determine the impact of risks on project completion dates and total costs.

·       Schedule Risk Analysis (SRA): Work closely with the Planning team to integrate risks into the Primavera (P6) schedule to determine the "Confidence Level" of finish dates.

·       Cost Risk Analysis (CRA): Collaborate with the Cost Control team to assess contingency requirements and manage the risk-adjusted budget.

·       Develop proactive Risk Response Plans (Avoid, Transfer, Mitigate, Accept).

·       Maintain and update the Project Risk Register monthly, ensuring all risks have assigned owners and active action plans.

·       Monitor points for potential risks and alert management before they escalate into issues.

·       Prepare comprehensive Risk Assessment Reports and Dashboards for executive management.

Lead and mentor a team of risk engineers/coordinators, ensuring consistency in risk data collection and analysis.
