Job description
The Business Architect serves as the strategic link between business vision and enterprise execution. This role is responsible for developing, governing, and continuously enhancing the organization's business architecture to ensure alignment between strategy, capabilities, processes, products, and transformation initiatives. Leveraging industry-leading frameworks and methodologies such as TOGAF, BPMN 2.0, BAGuild, eTOM, APQC, and ABPMP, the Business Architect enables business transformation by defining current and future-state architectures, identifying capability gaps, and ensuring that enterprise investments deliver measurable business value.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, Strategy Consulting, Business Transformation, or Management Consulting.
- Strong understanding of Enterprise Architecture frameworks such as TOGAF.
- Experience with Business Process Management (BPM) methodologies and BPMN 2.0.
- Knowledge of industry frameworks such as eTOM, APQC, BAGuild, and ABPMP BPM CBOK.
- Experience developing capability maps, value streams, business process architectures, and operating models.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking capabilities.
- Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills.
- Experience working in large-scale transformation and digital initiatives.
Preferred Certifications
- TOGAF Certification
- Certified Business Architect (CBA)
- ABPMP CBPP Certification
- BPMN Certification
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt
- Business Analysis Certifications (CBAP, PMI-PBA) are advantageous
