Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Construction Supervisor Electrical to join our team! In this role, you will monitor and supervise all construction activities related to the electrical works of the project. You will also have the opportunity to work on one of our key buildings, involving extensive high rise tower construction.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Monitors and/or evaluates electrical tests such as ground-fault, ground resistance, insulation resistance, polarity, continuity, capacity, load and other electrical field tests as required.
- Provide inspection of electrical equipment installations or modifications, witnesses testing and energization field activities.
- Provide reports on the progress of the Electrical aspects of the project.
- Monitor safety aspects when dealing with Electrical installations
- Monitor the review of the contractor s documents/shop drawings to flag and rectify any issues which may affect the stability or function of any Electrical components or systems.
- Liaising with the Senior Electrical Engineer and other Engineers and Managers to provide support and guidance as required
- Monitoring all Electrical engineering aspects of the project to ensure compliance with approved and proper standards
- Maintain daily reports documenting work performed by the contractor.
- Field checks installation and location of electrical equipment, electrical duct, conduit, cable, panels and other components of the electrical system being installed.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Associate's or equivalent degree in a technical discipline or construction related field.
- 5+ years of related experience on housing construction projects.
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and construction specifications and be thoroughly familiar with construction related processes related to area of assignment.
