The Government Relations Coordinator plays a pivotal role in advancing the organization's strategic objectives by fostering and sustaining robust relationships with governmental bodies, legislators, and influential public sector stakeholders. This position involves proactive monitoring of legislative and regulatory landscapes, providing in-depth analysis of governmental policies, and crafting comprehensive strategies and reports to ensure alignment of organizational goals with emerging public sector opportunities. Key responsibilities include :
Receive vehicle sales data from the sales team and ensure all required documents for plate issuance are complete.
Enter data into the TAMM system and interact with related platforms (Absher Traffic Department Ministry of Interior).
Follow up on the issuance of registration documents, vehicle registration, and coordinate plate delivery schedules with the concerned authority.
Coordinate with transport companies or internal departments to deliver plates and registration documents to customers or showrooms.
Maintain and archive both electronic and physical copies of issued transactions.
Resolve any issues or remarks related to plate issuance in coordination with relevant departments.
Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding security and confidentiality.
Prepare regular reports on the number of issued plates and completed transactions
Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Public Administration, Communications, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in government relations, public affairs, or a related field.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to conduct research, analyze policy issues, and present findings clearly and succinctly.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
Flexibility to attend meetings or events outside regular working hours as required.
