Job description
- Operate test vehicles on designated routes and test tracks strictly according to the assigned shift schedule and test plan.
- Build and apply a solid understanding of the test vehicle's features, functions, and controls (e.g. driver assistance systems, infotainment, comfort features) in order to assess and use them correctly during test drives.
- Closely monitor vehicle behavior while driving, and identify, note, and clearly communicate any technical issues, unusual noises, warning signals, or irregularities observed during the test drive.
- Provide clear, accurate, and timely feedback and observations to the Test Drive Coordinator after each shift, supporting complete and reliable documentation of test results.
- Demonstrate responsible and safe driving behavior at all times, in compliance with traffic laws and internal safety guidelines.
- Maintain full commitment and punctuality regarding assigned test drive shift timings, including early morning, evening, or extended shifts as required.
- Handle test vehicles, keys, and equipment responsibly, ensuring proper care of vehicle condition, cleanliness, and confidentiality (e.g. camouflage/prototype vehicles).
- Follow all instructions from the Test Drive Coordinator regarding routes, test procedures, and reporting requirements.
- Report any safety concerns, accidents, or vehicle malfunctions immediately to the Test Drive Coordinator.
