Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Intermediate Engineer - Saudi National to join our team! In this role you will get to work within a new PMO working on major highways / infrastructure projects in the KSA Capital, Riyadh City.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Review the scope of engineering work, schedules, and budgets for the assigned project elements, monitoring progress to maintain those schedules and budgets.
- Identifies and documents changes in scope.
- Assists in determining the scope of procurement work, schedules, and budgets for the assigned projects, monitoring progress to maintain those procurements.
- Assists in bid analysis to help determine supplier availability and capability.
- Coordinates with other personnel from all technical support groups within the Company and from third parties.
- Assists the assigned Project Manager in planning, directing, supervision, and controlling the execution of technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of the project or study.
- Ensures client criteria and scope are met.
- Participates regularly in decision-making meetings with the client, design consultant and contractors.
- Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications
- Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- 3+ years of related work experience.
- Proficiency in utilizing CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering
- Proficiency in using design software and undertaking / reviewing all associated calculations
- Experience in reviewing third party designs and coordinating comments for approval
- Experience of working within a multi-discipline team environment
- Proactive approach to own activities and helping in other disciplines, as far as practically possible, to assist in PMO overall efficiency.
- Proven working experience as a Project Engineer
- Advanced MS Office skills
- Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards
- Project management and supervision skills
- Decision making ability and leadership skills
- Time management and organization skills
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
- Previous experience of working in a PMO desirable
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
