Job Scope
As a People & Culture Executive at the hotel, you will support human resources and culture initiatives to enhance employee engagement, promote a positive work environment, and drive organizational success. Your role involves assisting in HR operations, talent management, employee relations, and cultural programs to contribute to a diverse, inclusive, and thriving workplace.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- HR Administration Support:
- Assist in HR administrative tasks, such as maintaining employee records, processing HR documentation, and updating HR systems with accurate and timely information.
- Support HR processes, including onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, and payroll coordination, ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures.
- Talent Acquisition Assistance:
- Coordinate recruitment activities, schedule interviews, communicate with candidates, and assist in the candidate selection process to support efficient and effective hiring.
- Assist in sourcing candidates, posting job vacancies, and managing recruitment platforms to attract qualified candidates for open positions within the hotel.
- Employee Engagement Programs:
- Participate in organizing employee engagement initiatives, wellness programs, team-building activities, and recognition events to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Support the implementation of employee surveys, feedback mechanisms, and recognition schemes to promote employee morale and satisfaction.
- Training and Development Support:
- Assist in coordinating training sessions, workshops, and development programs for employees to enhance their skills, knowledge, and career growth opportunities.
- Maintain training records, track employee training progress, and support the evaluation of training effectiveness to ensure learning objectives are met.
- HR Reporting and Data Management:
- Compile HR data, generate HR reports, and analyze HR metrics to provide insights on key HR indicators, trends, and areas for improvement.
- Assist in maintaining HR databases, tracking HR analytics, and ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality in HR information management.
- Employee Relations Assistance:
- Support employee relations activities, including resolving minor grievances, addressing employee queries, and escalating issues to HR managers for resolution.
- Assist in promoting a positive work environment, diversity, and inclusion initiatives, and upholding organizational values and policies in employee interactions.
- Compliance and Policy Adherence:
- Ensure compliance with HR laws, regulations, and company policies in all HR practices and initiatives.
- Assist in updating HR policies, employee handbooks, and compliance documentation
Education, Qualifications/Skills
- Bachelor s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; HR certification or relevant training is a plus.
- Previous experience in HR support roles, administrative positions, or customer service roles, with exposure to HR functions preferred.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced HR environment.
- Good communication skills, interpersonal abilities, and a customer-oriented approach in dealing with employees and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, HR software, and data management tools for HR administration and reporting.
- Enthusiasm for HR practices, employee engagement initiatives, and a willingness to learn and grow in the HR field.
