Engineering draftsman

• Preparing detailed 2D and 3D drawings for civil and structural projects using AutoCAD and Revit software.

• Developing site plans, grading plans, structural details, and construction drawings based on engineers' specifications or existing conditions.

• Ensuring drawings comply with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.

• Reviewing and updating drawings based on engineers' feedback and technical specifications.

• Maintaining drawing records and documents and controlling versions of all design files.

• Coordinating with surveyors to interpret topographic data and incorporate it into designs.

• Assisting in extracting quantities from drawings for cost estimation and project planning.

• Preparing as-built drawings and necessary documentation for project handover.

• Assisting in preparing project reports and presentations.

Skills

• Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.

• Minimum of two to three years of practical experience in construction projects in the Gulf region, as a draftsman with a contractor or consultant.

• Proficiency in using AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office software.

• Extreme accuracy and attention to detail.

• Effective communication skills and teamwork spirit.

• Knowledge of building codes, structural details, and materials used.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, topographic data, and survey data.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

• Engineering Technician membership.
