Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of capital cost estimates (AACE Class 5 to Class 1) for large multi-disciplinary EPCM projects
- Prepare Basis of Estimate (BoE) and Estimating Plans
- Develop first-principles and factored estimates, including direct/indirect costs
- Review quantity take-offs across civil, structural, piping, and E&I
- Conduct commercial bid evaluations for vendors and contractors
- Support cost baseline development, cash flow, and escalation forecasting
- Monitor cost performance, variations, and claims during execution
- Interface with clients and stakeholders through reporting and presentations
About You
- Engineering degree (Mechanical preferred)
- 10 15 years of estimating experience in mining, metals, or energy projects (EPCM preferred)
- Experience across full project lifecycle (study through execution)
- Strong knowledge of construction practices and productivity factors
- Familiar with estimating tools (Candy preferred)
- Excellent client-facing and communication skills
Language
English required; Arabic is an asset
