Road Engineer

The Road Engineer supervises and manages road construction activities including earthworks, pavement layers, drainage, utilities, and traffic diversions. Ensures compliance with specifications and quality standards.

Your role

Supervise daily road construction works: excavation, subgrade, GSB, sub-base, asphalt. Review drawings and ensure correct site implementation. Coordinate activities with survey, QA/QC, and safety teams. Monitor material quality, equipment usage, and production rates. Report daily progress and highlight technical issues. Assist with traffic management and temporary diversions. Ensure compliance with AASHTO, ASTM, and project standards.

Bachelor s in Civil Engineering. 5 10 years road construction supervision experience. Strong understanding of pavement materials, grading, and compaction standards. Familiarity with surveying and drainage installation.
