Civil Engineer - Poultry Projects

• Specialized Structural Supervision:
  Monitoring the construction of poultry sheds (closed and open) and steel structures to ensure accuracy of dimensions and areas.

• Preparation of Insulation Systems:
  Supervising the installation of thermal and moisture insulation materials for walls and ceilings (sandwich panels) to protect birds from weather fluctuations.

• Infrastructure Establishment:
  Supervising the implementation of water networks, waste drainage systems, and bases for installing ventilation fans and cooling pads.

• Floor and Concrete Execution:
  Pouring smooth, acid-resistant, and chemical-resistant concrete floors to facilitate regular cleaning and disinfection operations.

• Biosecurity Application:
  Designing and implementing disinfection gates, car wash stations, and external fences to prevent disease transmission to the farm.

• Quality Management and Compliance:
  Accepting work from contractors and ensuring it matches engineering drawings and the requirements of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.

• Experience:
  Previous experience supervising the construction of steel structures or hangars, preferably in agricultural or livestock projects.

• Licensing: Valid membership in a professional body.

Required Skills

• Specialized Knowledge: Understanding mechanical movement requirements inside sheds (feed tracks, water lines, air extraction).
• Blueprint Reading: Proficiency in reading and modifying structural, architectural, and infrastructure network drawings.
• Field Flexibility: Ability to work in remote locations (outside urban areas) and effectively manage labor and contractors.
