They undertake simple operational activities including determining the operative part of decisions made, formulating simple decisions and causing of the rulings, and following-up on the enforcement of decisions by external stakeholders.
Job Resposiblites
- Coordinate with all related internal stakeholders to complete the function's tasks in a timely manner ensuring continuous alignment and communication
- Receive copy of session/sessions minutes signed by Committee members and contribute to determining the operative part of decision made during the session in order to draft decisions
- Formulate draft decisions and causing of the rulings by referring to judicial precedents in coordination with the Judicial Support of Committees for Customs function
Job Details
- Present draft decisions to the line manager and head of function and amend according to their observations and input
- Register the decisions in an accurate and timely manner
- Prepare letters and send e-applications to the concerned external stakeholders to execute decisions (including but not limited to travel bans, freeze of assets and bank accounts, witness notices, etc.)
- Follow-up on the timely enforcement of decisions by external stakeholders
- Follow all relevant policies, processes and standard operating procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner
- Help in solving escalated problems and provide needed support for junior team to ensure work is carried out in an efficient manner
- Escalate complex problems to the relevant person to ensure cases/issues are closed properly
- Perform other duties as requested
Bachelor s degree in Law, Legal Studies, or equivalent is required
