Senior Engineer - Planning - NCC Energy - KSA

This position is responsible for planning and scheduling all execution aspects of assigned projects, providing input to the Tendering and Proposals department for pre-bid work, and collecting data from projects and supporting departments such as Materials, HR and Plant to provide Management with accurate information on project progress and supply schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule assigned projects in line with the contract scope to ensure completion within the scheduled time.
• Coordinate with Tendering and Proposals on contract award and prepare the project plan and schedule as per scope and cost.
• Plan and schedule the supply of materials, manpower and machinery, including cost, to meet the construction schedule.
• Collect actual progress from site, compare it against the plan, and report variances to the Divisional Head for corrective action.
• Prepare client and management progress reports, highlighting project status and required corrective actions.
• Compare billing against the billing schedule and support Finance in preparing project cash flow and fund flow statements.
• Coordinate with Project Management to verify sub-contractor billing against scope and plan, and prepare lessons-learned reports at project closure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 10–12 years of experience in project planning and scheduling.
• Sound knowledge of planning software such as Primavera (P6) or MS Project.
• Good understanding of construction sequence, materials and machinery capacity and usage.
• Strong communication, report writing, presentation, organizing and interpersonal skills.
