Technical Office & Estimation Engineer

We are seeking a Technical Office & Estimation Engineer for a leading construction company in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Minimum of 7 years of experience in the construction and contracting sector.

Strong experience in the technical office and estimation for MEP works in construction projects.

Experience in residential, commercial, administrative, or public projects.

Proficiency in studying drawings and specifications, quantity take-off, and preparing and reviewing BOQ.

Strong experience in estimating works:

HVAC

Fire Fighting

Plumbing

Drainage

Mechanical Equipment

Ability to prepare cost breakdowns and analyze item prices, and compare supplier and subcontractor bids.

Experience in issuing and reviewing RFQs, technical and commercial comparisons, and subcontractor quotations.

Ability to review scopes of work, specifications, IFC/tender drawings, and identify discrepancies and changes.

Preferred candidates will have experience in construction contracts, variation orders, claims, change orders, and subcontracts.

Ability to support contract management and procurement from a technical and commercial perspective.

Proficiency in Excel and estimation software.

Fluency in English for technical and commercial correspondence.

Must be located in Saudi Arabia and able to transfer sponsorship.

Job Nature:

The role involves working within contract management and procurement, providing support for project studies, price analysis, contract reviews, and scopes of work, evaluating subcontractors and suppliers, and reviewing change orders and claims.
