Job description
- Conduct topographic surveys for sites, determining elevations, contours, and distances.
- Sign off on benchmarks and reference points, establishing property boundaries and infrastructure according to approved plans.
- Utilize modern surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS devices, levels, and cameras.
- Prepare surveys, maps, and reports, documenting measurement results accurately.
- Review engineering drawings and compare survey data with project requirements.
- Calculate areas, volumes, and necessary parameters for construction activities.
- Verify the accuracy of measurements and data, addressing any discrepancies or field observations.
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and project teams to ensure work proceeds according to plans.
- Maintain surveying equipment and standards, ensuring readiness for use.
- Adhere to safety procedures while working in various field environments.
