Main responsibilities include:
- Data entry and verification: Recording daily transactions accurately and maintaining accounts and contracts, as well as monthly and periodic financial reconciliations.
- Standards and taxes: Processing lease agreements accurately, and preparing periodic VAT returns.
- Financial reports: Assisting in the preparation of financial statements and periodic reports according to established standards.
Requirements and conditions:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent.
- Experience: Proven work experience ranging from 3 to 5 years in the accounting and finance field.
- Language: Full proficiency in both Arabic and English (speaking and writing) for dealing with reports and systems.
- International Standards: Strong knowledge and practical application of the complete set of international standards, particularly accounting standards related to lease agreements (IFRS 16).
- Taxes: Accurate experience in applying VAT systems and related regulations and systems.
- Systems: Full proficiency in working with accounting systems (ERP) and Microsoft Excel at an advanced level.
- Professional certifications: Membership in a recognized professional body for accountants (such as SOCPA) is preferred.
