Oracle WMS SME (Techno-Functional)

We are partnering with a leading global technology consulting organisation delivering large-scale supply chain transformation programmes across the Middle East. As part of a major Oracle Cloud implementation initiative, we are seeking an experienced Oracle WMS SME to join a high-profile programme in Riyadh. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex warehouse and distribution transformation projects, helping enterprise clients optimise their logistics operations through Oracle Warehouse Management Cloud solutions.

The Role

As the Oracle WMS SME, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, integration, and ongoing support of Oracle Warehouse Management solutions across large-scale warehouse and distribution environments. You will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and third-party vendors to deliver efficient, scalable, and highly automated warehouse operations. The role combines both functional and technical expertise, requiring a strong understanding of warehouse processes, Oracle Cloud technologies, and system integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support end-to-end Oracle Warehouse Management (WMS Cloud/Fusion WMS) implementation projects

• Drive requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, UAT, cutover, and post-go-live support activities

• Configure and optimise warehouse operations including receiving, put-away, inventory management, picking, packing, shipping, and fulfilment processes

• Support and troubleshoot Oracle WMS Cloud and Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) WMS environments

• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) on functional and technical issues, including data discrepancies and interface failures

• Design, configure, and support integrations between Oracle WMS and Oracle Fusion SCM modules including Inventory (INV), Order Management (OM), and Transportation Management (TMS)

• Collaborate with technical teams on warehouse automation initiatives, including barcoding, RF scanners, and material handling equipment

• Support application management services (AMS) and continuous improvement initiatives

• Work closely with business users and operational teams to optimise warehouse performance and processes

• 10+ years of experience within Oracle Warehouse Management solutions

• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle WMS Cloud / Fusion WMS

• Experience supporting Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) WMS environments

• Proven experience delivering full lifecycle Oracle WMS implementations

• Strong understanding of warehouse and distribution operations including:

  • Warehouse Optimisation

• Experience with:

  • Barcode Technologies

• Strong integration experience across Oracle Fusion SCM modules including:

  • Inventory Management (INV)
  • Order Management (OM)
  • Transportation Management (TMS)

• Experience conducting root cause analysis and resolving complex functional and technical issues

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

• Ability to work within multicultural and globally distributed project teams
