Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Health & Safety Inspector
(Saudi National) to join our site-based construction supervision team on a major public realm development in Diriyah, which includes a series of iconic and neighborhood parks, open spaces, and over 55 kilometers of streetscape. The objective of this program is to create a vibrant, inclusive environment that enhances livability, accessibility, and community well-being.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Assists the project or program manager with administering the SH&E programs.
- Audits the project or program and its worksites against corporate standards.
- Inspects worksites to detect hazards; provides expertise to project personnel to eliminate/control the SH&E risks associated with exposure to the hazards.
- Creates and submits written audit and inspection reports.
- Monitors project or program work planning and performance; verifies planning and work performance conforms to Parsons Environmental, Safety, Health, and Risk Program (ESHARP) management system.
- Implements Parsons occupational injury and incident reporting and management processes.
- Performs trends analyses on audit findings, inspection findings, and incident reports; creates and submits regular analysis reports.
- Assists the project or program manager with new hire orientation.
- Performs regulatory and best practice SH&E training.
- Creates and maintains SH&E training records.
- Participates in routine safe work briefings.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of related work experience in the field of Health and Safety.
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified 30-Hours OSHA construction training/license
