Resident Engineer / Construction Manager

Lead and manage all on-site construction and supervision activities.

Ensure project execution is in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, contractual requirements, and applicable regulations.

Coordinate with the Client, Contractor, Design Consultants, and other stakeholders.

Monitor construction progress and ensure achievement of project milestones.

Review and approve method statements, shop drawings, material submittals, and technical submissions.

Ensure compliance with quality assurance and quality control procedures.

Conduct regular site inspections and monitor HSE compliance.

Chair progress meetings and prepare project reports.

Identify project risks and recommend mitigation measures.

Review contractor claims, variations, and extension of time requests.

Ensure proper testing, commissioning, and handover of project facilities.

Mentor and guide site supervision teams and discipline engineers.

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering only.

Professional Engineering registration/certification is an advantage.

Minimum 15 years of total professional experience in engineering, construction, and project supervision.

Minimum 5 years of consultancy experience in a Resident Engineer and/or Construction Manager role.

Proven experience in the construction and supervision of at least one or more of the following:

• Sewage Treatment Plants (STP)
• Wastewater Treatment Plants (WWTP)
• Water Treatment Plants (WTP)
• Water Purification Plants/Projects (WPP)

Experience working on large-scale infrastructure and utility projects within the GCC region is highly preferred.

Demonstrated experience in project commissioning, testing, and final handover.

Strong leadership and project management capabilities.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Sound knowledge of FIDIC contract conditions.

Strong understanding of construction methodologies and engineering standards.

Ability to manage multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in MS Office, Primavera P6, and project reporting tools.

Fluent in both Arabic and English.

Nationality Requirement
