Network Engineer - CCNP

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and troubleshoot enterprise network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN equipment.
• Implement and manage network protocols, routing, and switching technologies to optimize network performance and reliability.
• Monitor network performance and security to identify and resolve issues proactively to maintain high availability.
• Participate in network capacity planning and traffic engineering activities to meet future growth demands.
• Collaborate with security teams to enforce network security policies and best practices.
• Document network configurations, policies, and procedures to facilitate efficient operations and maintenance.
• Assist with network upgrades, migrations, and integration with cloud or hybrid infrastructure environments.
• Provide technical support and training to junior network staff and other IT teams as required.

Technical Skills & Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of network protocols including OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, and MPLS.
• Experience with Cisco network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Hands-on experience in configuring VPNs, NAT, QoS, and network security controls.
• Good understanding of network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
• Familiarity with network automation and scripting is a plus.
