Plant Operator – Sulphur Plant

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Plant Operator to join our operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining production machinery to ensure smooth and efficient plant operations. The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail, a commitment to workplace safety, and a willingness to learn and continuously improve.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up machines and equipment to begin the production cycle.

• Operate, monitor, and adjust machine settings such as speed and temperature to ensure optimal performance.

• Feed raw materials into machines and ensure uninterrupted production.

• Inspect finished parts and products using precision measuring instruments.

• Identify and resolve minor machine faults during production shifts.

• Conduct periodic testing and routine checks to ensure machines operate efficiently.

• Record production output, including approved and defective units.

• Prepare machines for operation and troubleshoot operational issues as required.

• Monitor plant operations, including conveyor belts, steam boilers, cooling towers, and oil boilers.

• Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance requirements.

• Follow company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards at all times.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

• Qualification: Diploma

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in plant operations, manufacturing, production, or industrial environments.

• Basic knowledge of production machinery, mechanical systems, and industrial equipment.

• Ability to troubleshoot minor machine issues and perform routine operational checks.

• Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.

• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Willingness to work in shifts, if required.
