Technical Manager - Electrical

Lead and manage the electrical engineering and technical team throughout the project lifecycle.

Review and coordinate electrical design, drawings, specifications, calculations and technical documents.

Ensure electrical designs are fully coordinated with architectural, structural, mechanical and other disciplines.

Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, technical submissions and RFIs.

Ensure compliance with project specifications, Saudi Building Code, Civil Defense requirements, and applicable international standards.

Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, suppliers and project management teams on all electrical technical matters.

Identify design discrepancies, clashes and constructability issues and provide practical engineering solutions.

Manage the technical review and approval process for electrical materials and equipment.

Provide technical support to construction teams to resolve site-related engineering issues.

Monitor electrical works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications and quality requirements.

Coordinate with BIM teams and ensure proper integration and coordination of electrical services within the overall project model.

Review and manage technical changes, variations and design modifications from an electrical perspective.

Participate in design review meetings, technical workshops and coordination meetings with the client and consultant.

Support procurement by reviewing technical specifications, vendor proposals and equipment selections.

Ensure timely closure of technical submittals, RFIs, design comments and consultant observations.

Coordinate testing, commissioning and handover requirements for electrical systems.

Provide technical guidance and mentoring to electrical engineers and technical staff.

Monitor project technical risks and ensure timely resolution of critical engineering issues.

Ensure all electrical documentation, as-built drawings, O&M manuals and handover documents are completed as required.

Support project management in achieving project milestones, cost objectives and quality targets.

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering

15–20+ years of overall experience in electrical engineering and construction.

Proven experience in managing electrical technical activities for large-scale construction projects.
