NOC Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform 24x7 real-time monitoring using Nokia NetAct / NSP / NFM platforms.
• Provide Level-1 (L1) support including alarm monitoring, ticket creation, and initial troubleshooting.
• Monitor RAN, Core, IP, Transmission, and Satellite network elements.
• Manage and monitor Satellite Gateway systems, including:
• Analyze alarms via SNMP, syslogs, and performance dashboards.
• Escalate incidents to L2/L3 teams per SLA guidelines.
• Coordinate with field operations, vendors, and satellite providers for fault resolution.
• Support preventive maintenance, upgrades, and change management activities.
• Prepare shift reports, outage reports, and SLA compliance documentation.

Required Technical Skills:

• 2 5+ years of experience in Telecom NOC operations.
• Hands-on experience with Nokia NOC tools (NetAct, NSP, NFM).
• Experience in Satellite Gateway operations (VSAT, RF troubleshooting, modem management).
• Familiarity with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Remedy, or similar).
• Knowledge of SLA/KPI monitoring and incident management processes.
