Chromatography Unit Head

We currently have a new vacancy for a qualified and experienced Medical Laboratory Specialist to manage the Chromatography Unit within the Anti-Doping Services of one of the biggest health care facilities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Basic Function: Responsible for managing the activities and functions of the Chromatography Unit within the Anti-Doping Services by ensuring effective and efficient delivery of various chromatography and mass spectrometry techniques on athlete's urine/tissue/blood samples to produce reliable and accurate laboratory testing and results in line with clinical practice and safety standards and all relevant policies and regulations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Clinical Laboratory Services, Clinical Analytic Chemistry or replated discipline from an accredited institution
• Master / PhD degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry from an accredited institution
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a directly related laboratory setting, 3 years of which in clinical chemistry/biochemistry field and in a supervisory/ management role
• Western European/ American / Canadian / Australian trained and experienced - preferred
