Quality Senior Software Engineer

We are seeking a QA Engineer with strong experience in Manual Testing and API Testing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in test planning, test execution, defect management, and validating web applications, mobile applications, and APIs. Exposure to test automation is preferred but not mandatory. Key Responsibilities Analyze business and functional requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases. Perform Manual Testing for web, mobile, and enterprise applications. Execute Functional, Regression, Integration, System, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Conduct API Testing using tools such as Postman, Swagger, or similar tools. Validate API requests, responses, authentication, and error handling. Log, track, and verify defects using defect management tools. Work closely with Business Analysts, Developers, and Product Teams to ensure quality deliverables. Participate in requirement reviews, sprint planning, and release activities. Prepare test reports and communicate testing progress to stakeholders. Support production validation and post-release testing activities.

• Strong experience in Manual Testing.
• Hands-on experience in API Testing using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools.
• Good understanding of SDLC and STLC.
• Experience in writing test cases, test plans, and test execution reports.
• Good knowledge of SQL for data validation.
• Experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Preferred Skills Basic exposure to Automation Testing (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar).
• Knowledge of performance or security testing is a plus.
• Experience in Banking, Financial Services, or Fintech domains is preferred.
• Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• Relevant QA certifications are a plus.
• Nice to Have Banking, Payments, or Fintech project experience.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts.
