We are seeking an experienced Electrical Site Engineer with 5–9 years of experience in the construction industry, including mandatory experience on high-rise building projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating all electrical installation works on-site, ensuring compliance with project specifications, quality standards, safety regulations, and project schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the installation of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, emergency lighting, low-current systems, fire alarm, grounding, and lightning protection.
- Ensure all electrical works are executed in accordance with approved shop drawings, project specifications, and applicable codes and standards.
- Coordinate with consultants, architects, structural, and MEP teams to resolve technical and site-related issues.
- Review electrical shop drawings, material submittals, RFIs, and method statements before execution.
- Monitor site progress and ensure work is completed within the approved schedule.
- Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with QA/QC requirements.
- Coordinate testing, commissioning, and final handover of electrical systems.
- Monitor manpower, materials, and equipment to achieve project milestones.
- Ensure compliance with HSE policies and maintain a safe working environment.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Attend coordination and progress meetings with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 5–8 years of experience in electrical building construction.
- Mandatory experience in high-rise residential, commercial, or mixed-use tower projects.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems including power, lighting, fire alarm, grounding, lightning protection, and low-current systems.
- Experience in testing, commissioning, and system handover.
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and single-line diagrams.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; experience with Revit MEP and Primavera P6 is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of international standards (IEC, NFPA) and Saudi building regulations.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Saudi Arabia/GCC experience is preferred.
- Valid Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) registration is preferred.
