The General Manager will have full responsibility for the company s overall performance, including profit and loss management, strategy, manufacturing operations, commercial growth, product development, customer relationships, organizational capability and regulatory compliance.
Key Accountabilities
- Develop and execute the company s business strategy and annual operating plan.
- Take full responsibility for revenue, profitability, cash flow and budget performance.
- Lead sales growth across Saudi Arabia, the GCC and selected export markets.
- Build strong relationships with key customers, distributors and strategic partners.
- Improve pricing, product mix, margins and customer profitability.
- Oversee manufacturing operations, quality, maintenance and production planning.
- Improve plant productivity, capacity utilization, yield and cost efficiency.
- Ensure reliable procurement, inventory control and supply-chain performance.
- Lead new-product development and technical-service initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and regulatory requirements.
- Build, develop and retain a high-performing leadership team.
- Provide regular business updates and recommendations to the Board.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience We are Looking for:
- Bachelor s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
- At least 12-15 years of relevant experience, including senior leadership responsibility.
- Proven experience managing a profit-and-loss function within chemicals, paints, coatings, pigments, inks, plastics or industrial manufacturing.
- Strong commercial, operational and financial-management capabilities.
- Experience in manufacturing optimization, business development and supply-chain management.
- Strong leadership, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills.
- Experience in Saudi Arabia or the GCC is strongly preferred.
- Fluency in Arabic & English.
