Airflow Control Technician

Key Responsibilities:

• Measure, test, and balance HVAC air and hydronic systems (airflow, pressure, temperature, and velocity)
• Adjust dampers, valves, diffusers, fans, and control devices to meet design specifications
• Perform system diagnostics to identify airflow or performance issues
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and TAB (Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing) reports
• Use specialized instruments such as manometers, anemometers, airflow hoods, and data loggers
• Verify system performance meets project specifications, standards, and local codes

Skills

Education & Experience:

• Diploma in mechanical or related field.
• +5 years of experience in Airflow control or HVAC.
• Knowledge of HVAC principles, airflow dynamics, and system balancing
• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
