About the Role:

Senior Staff Veterinarian will be responsible to maximise the productivity, health and welfare of the Almarai Herd by the implementation of herd health programs and provision of veterinary services.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve animal health and breeding issues.

• Provide scheduled reproduction palpation services across farm sites.

• Deliver 24-hour emergency veterinary support as required

• Analyze and report health and breeding data regularly.

• Conduct training sessions for farm staff on animal health and breeding.

• Perform surgical procedures and post-mortem examinations as needed.

• Administer Brucellosis vaccinations and support FMD policy implementation.

• Liaise with the Ministry of Agriculture and other veterinary bodies.

Qualifications:

• Should hold a Veterinary Degree to be eligible work as Veterinary Surgeon in KSA

• Minimum 7 years of experience with large dairy herds.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong technical knowledge of dairy cattle veterinary care.

• Excellent problem-solving and data analysis skills.

• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Willingness to work long hours, including off-duty and emergency shifts.

• Ability to work in physically demanding outdoor environments.

• Cultural sensitivity and adaptability in a diverse workplace.

• Computer literacy.
