Job description
Lead the shift maintenance team in his area to follow the implementation of the maintenance and preventive maintenance in addition to all other assigned tasks and ensure they all are executed in safe, good and cost effective manner.
Responsibilities
- The overall management of Quality, Costs, Service and People with the aid of technicians across all shifts
- Executing the maintenance schedules to maintain the plant equipment with-in given engineering standards.
- Adhere to all technical problems within the area of responsibility and make sure proper actions are identified and taken, and support other areas supervisors if needed.
- Ensure all requirements of the safety policies are adhere too.
- Maintain and implement AIB standards.
- Identify opportunities, support initiatives and encourage his team to improve production processes in conjunction with production personnel to improve quality, productivity, enhance safety or drive down costs.
- Ensure that spending is in line with the department budget and direct manager directions.
- Daily reporting of all shift activities.
- To implement, sustain and participate in the continual improvement of the OH&S Management System (MS) at area of responsibility in accordance to the legislations, PepsiCo GEHSMS and relevant EHS standards, ensuring proper controls for all hazards and risks associated with all activities/areas are in place and OH&S targets are achieved.
The person should be a self-starter with innovative technical abilities and leadership skills. Engineer in electrical, mechanical, electronic or Instrumentation engineering with minimum three years industrial experience. Can read plans/schematic drawings (in the field of qualification) Malfunctions and technical trouble shooting ability Capable of organizing planned activities
