Job description
We are seeking a qualified and proactive HSE Engineer to join the PMCM team on a prestigious project in Riyadh. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and ensuring compliance with project Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements across construction activities, promoting a strong safety culture, and supporting the project's commitment to achieving the highest safety standards.
Monitor site activities and ensure compliance with project HSE requirements, Saudi regulations, and international best practices. Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and safety observations. Identify unsafe conditions and behaviors and ensure timely corrective actions are implemented. Review and monitor contractors' HSE plans, risk assessments, method statements, and permits to work. Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and prepare detailed reports with recommendations. Participate in safety meetings, toolbox talks, and awareness campaigns. Monitor compliance with environmental requirements and sustainability standards. Ensure appropriate PPE usage and safe working practices across all construction activities. Track and report HSE performance metrics and prepare weekly/monthly reports. Coordinate with project stakeholders to ensure continuous improvement of safety performance. Support emergency preparedness and response activities.

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline. Minimum 5 8 years of HSE experience on large construction, infrastructure, or building projects. Previous experience working within a PMCM/Consultancy environment is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of Saudi HSE regulations, international safety standards, and construction safety practices. Excellent communication, reporting, and stakeholder management skills. Preference will be given to Saudi Nationals who are available for immediate mobilization and possess a valid SCE registration in Health & Safety.
